7X-1500 Series (with German DEWI certification), designed in Germany by Aerodyn.

  • The advantage of variable Speed Constant Frequency Synchronous Wind Generators is to make use of wind power to generate more electricity in both low wind and high wind. This is the major characteristic that 7X Series Double-Fed Asynchronous WTGS have by design.
  • When an asynchronous generator rotor works within certain upper and lower range of synchronous speed, WTGS can run in electric motor mode. In that mode; both ends feedback electricity—generator stator winding directly feeds electricity to grid; when rotor speed is lower than synchronous speed, the rotor normally absorbs electric energy from the grid through transducer to provide AC excitation; when rotor speed is higher than synchronous speed, electric energy is transmitted to grid after rotor winding current has been adjusted and controlled by the transducers. Rotor power flows in both directions, and leads to pitch control of active power and reactive power of an ancillary generator.
  • 7X Series adopts the pitch type with three blades controller and a separate generator.
  • A preload damping device is used with the yaw system of 7X Series WTGS and activated, then brought to high speed by the controller to simplify whole machine structure and promote operation dependability.

GENERAL PARTS AVIONEX/USA 70-1500-II & 77-1500-III

  • Rotor
It consists of three glass fiber reinforced epoxy resin blades, cast steel hub, pitch bearing, three separate electromotion pitch structure with a digital servo controller and its distribution box for power adjustment and brake. It is manufactured by our company with German technology, German mold and Certification by Germandischer Lloyd.
  • Gearbox and Bearing System
Gears lubricate automatically. The gearbox which consists of 1-stage planet and 2-stage parallel cylindrical gear transmits rotor torque to the generator through the main shaft and bearing connected to the hub and by using a slip ring high speed coupling.
  • Generator and Converter
Reinforced Air-cooled Double-Fed Generator’s rotor connects to the grid through four quadrants and a bi-directional power current transducer circuit panel to operate variable speed, constant frequency adjustable power factors. (There are three choices for customers: Alstom, ABB and Self-R&D.)
  • Yaw System
It consists of return support with ring gear, its own backup generator and motor. The wind-sensor located on the top of nacelle to monitor the wind direction, and the instruction will be issued after its information processed by central control system, then the wind turbine direction can be changed by the motion of the yaw precision bearings.
  • Control System
CMP (Multi-processor) controller is adopted so that the self-adjustment, grid monitoring, safeguarding, fault-down, running datum collecting, processing, limit-exceeding alarm and display as well as status reports can be printed from your own personal computer.
  • Lightning Prevention and ground cables. From blade tip, hub, nacelle foundation, tower, to base grounding rebar lattice, all electric connections are provided to meet the requirements of all the international lightning prevention and over-voltage protection standards for safety.
  • Tower
The tower is 66m or 78m tall, made of steel conic profile with corrosion protection treatment both inside and outside surfaces, connected by anchor bolts with base or with foundation base ring; internal staircase for "out of the weather" maintenance requirements is standard.

The Avoinex-1.5MW is inaudible from 200m distance and combines outstanding aesthetic, mechanical and is an overall superior engineered design. With the introduction of carbon credits across the US, along with significant incentives and grants available, the Avionex-1.5Mw is an outstanding investment.

The energy created by just one Avionex-1.5Mw turbine is enough to provide power to more than 1800 average households.
