The Corporation was formed on March 31, 2005 It is a Delaware Corporation originally formed to market personal services to individuals. Substantial funds and effort were invested in creating a unique web site in English and Spanish to provide an Express Parcel delivery service to Latin America. The company established aliances with Airborne Express and DHL to simultaneously also provide Express services Internationally. Sky rocketing costs and fuel surcharges caused a negative impact on profits, thus forcing the company to shut down that activity after substantial losses over a 3 1/2 year period. A first hand experience 20 years previously, while sailing his sloop in the Virgen Islands in 1984, led Capt. Peter L. Richards, President; to subsequently, seek a new and more profitable future for Avionex/USA in Renewable Wind Energy. The president's systems integration engineering background combined with careful research many years earlier while seeking to develop a Wind Turbine Energy Farm on Culebra Island in the Carribean, and combining lengthy discussions with the US Department of Energy; was very valuable in coming to the realization at that time that the 50KW energy output of Wind Turbines back then was inadequate in terms of the annual production income needed to build a successful Wind Farm in Culebra, Puerto Rico's off-shore island, just north of Vieques.. Current technology Mid-range 250KW to 500KW ( and in the future 750KW) Wind turbines modular technology could in fact create the revenue stream needed by the company for rapid, profitable growth, now made possible because of the logistical advantages in erecting Mid-seized Wind turbines in as short a period as 3-4 months. A new company invention design based on the replacement of metal gear boxes with a proprietary, Hydraulic (silent) variable speed Drive-train; thus in the near future will allow the Nascelle's normally supported heavy weight of the generators, to be eliminated by placing the generators in a sheltered, enclosed platform just above ground level, at the base of the Wind turbine's supporting tower; easily accessible for periodic upgrades and maintenance. The company currently is a founding member of the New Jersey Wind Group Committee, which has brought it excellent potential marketing information, plus important engineering design and manufacturing contacts. Prior to Avionex/USA Corporation,Capt. Richards had been President of Mega/Net Corporation for 27 years in New Jersey, designing, integrating, engineering, assembling and installing Middle-market RealTime Telecommunications based Operations Manangemen Systems in Europe and the North Eastern United States, 1970 to 1976; he was the Distributor for General Electric's Global Telecom Network for 6 years in his Carrribean San Juan, Puerto Rico Company; i.e. "Computer Systems of Puerto Rico, Inc".. All major Banks in Puerto Rico were CSPR's customers utilizing proprietary, On-Line Branch profitability software offered by his company, along with Global Network Engineering and auditing applications offered on-line by CSPR on its T-3 Circuits from San Juan... to giant General Electric's computers in Bethesda, Maryland.
